Another feature we like about this Schwinn assault bike is its comfortable seat. It’s nicely padded, oversized, and noticeably more comfortable than many other air bike seats.
Speaking of unique features, it also has multi-position handles, which allow you to effortlessly change up your grip. Options are always nice, and this is a good one to have. Like the Assault Airbike Classic and other popular fitness bikes, it’s also compatible with Shimano bike accessories and a wind guard is available as well.
All that being said, perhaps the best aspect of the Schwinn Airdyne Pro fan bike is its generous warranty. With a two-year parts warranty and unheard of 10-year frame warranty, there’s no question this air assault bike is built to last.

As its name suggests, the Assault Airbike Elite is a top of the line assault bike designed for rock-solid performance and high-intensity interval training. With corrosion-resistant solid steel cranks, a super strong steel frame, and aluminum seat post, this amped up air assault bike is even more robust and dynamic than the Assault Airbike Classic.
Unlike cheaper fitness bikes, the Assault Air Bike Elite fan bike has just about every single feature I look for, including a large extra-comfortable seat, multi-position handles, foot pegs to workout only the upper body, and the ability to pedal both forward and backward for a little workout variety.
Of course, as one of the elite assault bike options out there today, it’s also equipped with an LCD console, which offers sharp images and Bluetooth connectivity. Like other Assault Fitness bikes, it can also connect to ANT heart rate monitors, which is a nice touch.
Speaking of nice touches, this top-notch air assault bike also features a built-in windshield. Since an air bike can create quite a breeze, this is definitely a nice bonus.

The Schwinn Airdyne AD6 is a fantastic, budget-friendly assault bike with quality construction and a range of features to get your pulse pounding. Nonetheless, when discussing fitness bikes, it’s best to start with the frame.
Despite giving it a heft weight of 112 pounds, the frame of this Schwinn air bike is made of steel and aluminum for the right balance of strength and rigidity. It may be a little tougher to move than the other assault air bike models we’ve talked about, it accommodates a wide range of people of all sizes and makes an excellent base for serious pedaling action.
In addition to weighing more, the AD6 is a little larger than many of the other top air bike options on the market. While this may be a negative for some, if you have the space to accommodate this beast of an air assault bike, you’ll definitely appreciate its added stability.
